I wear it all the time because it is comfortable and looks great. They are tapered at the bottom so they are easier to get into boots. The amount of tech built into this piece is mine boggling. This jacket and bibs have been to hell and back and it just time to order a new one. I used mine for about 4months of guiding this past year, it worked great! No shortages of pockets and probably too many for me and my ability to lose items in them. Perfect in temperatures from 40-70 while on the move. My experience with them has been so good that I have purchased some more Sitka gear since and have been happy with everything I've bought.The only criticism I have of them is that the hip pockets are very shallow. SITKA Gear uses advanced design, technology and fabrics to create gear systems that enhance the experience of the hunter. Otherwise, I have worn it in prolonged deluges, and it stayed remarkably dry, making it a solid choice for me over goretex considering how it wears is more comfortable and breathable.The design details like pockets (many!) GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER: Offers complete windproof protection through a durable, lightweight, and breathable membrane. Sitka found that conection between those activities. These are the best hunting pants Ive owned for hot weather. And the pit zips really are nice and generous and actually work well for heat management. Sitka nailed it with this new release. Its toasty. I'm positive with a a good mid layer that this jacket can be worn down to the single digits if not down to 0. I normally wear a medium, but i sized up and got a large and it fit perfectly (I'm 5' 8 and 160lbs.) Love the jacket! Hats off to Sitka!! It is all that you say it is. Another very rugged route extends further from the main trail toward the glacier itself, but is recommended only for experienced backcountry travelers prepared for route finding.
